If you use this key ,you will have to install the chip from your old one, for it to work in your car.

 

I just ordered 2 new cases. The pair cost just under $10.

 

That looks just like the one I purchased and they come without the circuit board transmitter and the chip.
You have to install the board, chip and old key from your old fob to make it any use. The cost to cut the key to match the one from your old fob is much more than the blank fob is worth, in fact it is probably not worth the stamps to mail it at the cost of postage these days.

 

This one comes with the chip inside. It is more than just the case.

 

If the chip is not matched to the car you want to use it on then it might as well have no chip inside.
