Actually I was thinking the plug is on a pigtail not directly into the radio. Just ignore my suggestion.

Flat length of steel, hole in one end, 2 notched in the other, some black paint.
Should be easy to make even without machine shop tools.

Looking for that little round vent cover for the vent that is located on top of the dash on the far side of either end of the dash (driver and passenger side). one of mine was a victim of a clip on Air Freshener that was a bit aggressive. They seem to just pop out (not the entire vent, just the cover is what I need).

Anything?

thanks!!!

The OP has not posted since last August, The car seems to have been stripped and sold.
This thread is like the Mary Celeste, sailing on forever with no one at the helm.

Thanks Onehundred80... kind of figured but you never know... I think I may have actually found one at a local junk yard ... It's a roadster so not sure if it having sat there for a length of time will have done anything to the dash plastic in the AL sun but worth a shot... checking it out this weekend... they were holding this "very important" part for me till Saturday.

This thread is long dead.
You would not be wise to use the via a flat, it makes a mess inside the tire and can ruin the tire pressure sensor plus this is nearly sixteen years old. I have one and would never use it, and is safely stored in my basement.
Get one of those repair kits where you push a rubberized chord into the tread puncture, sidewall punctures mean a scrap tire.

Thank you for the information, would you consider selling the flat fix?
