Default To Part Or Not To Part

I have a 2004 Crossfire with about 80K miles that I just took that tags off and which also has a few issues and I'm wondering if its worth more as a parts car or just selling it off to a person or company. I quick lookup using some of the online "junkers" I get quotes between $500 and $1500 dollars which in my opinion is low (but maybe correct).

The body and tires are in good shape but known issues are the following:
  • Headliner- its coming down in certain places
  • Alarm Siren- the infamous cricket sound would occur randomly which normally means the battery died so I removed it
  • Head gasket- leaks and is dropping onto the manifold
  • Battery- needs to be replaced
  • Soft brakes- sitting for quite some time. Brake booster maybe?
  • Gas gauge- does not work
Thoughts on this as I spent about $2500 on a new SKREEM module and two new keys about three years ago and I'm not looking to put any major money (I have a new toy that takes my money.

Where are you located? That can make a difference in value.

Your car is worth more than $1500. If I were looking for a donor, I'd pay twice that..

remove siren, replace valve cover gaskets and reseal breathers, recover headliner, bleed brakes (rears get moisture in them fior some reason), replace battery, diag fuel level sender. no need to junk it, that car has a lot of life left in it.

I have found the soft brakes can be solved by replacing the brake fluid. If this is unsuccessful, it only cost you the price of DOT-4 fluid and some time (in my case it solved it). If what you listed is all that's wrong with it I aggree with the previous post! Lots of life left in it!

Unfortunately for us on mobile versions, it doesn't say where they are from.

If you do part it out, there are some parts u would be interested in.
Windshield surround and clips, trim and body clips.

Throttle pedal assembly
headlights.

I'm looking for a donated A/C head. Working or not. Trying to fault check (troubleshoot) one to maybe find out just why so many fail. Mine was replaced under warranty, then that one failed same problem, it was repaired my me (or so I thought) after it messed up again a while back. Now it is almost totally bonkers (yes, a technical term I use for the MB crap they sold me through the 'I don't care about your SLK chassis Fiat/Chrysler). I'll still try to help but only if it costs me only a shipping cost and a lot of time (possibly). Been looking for a looooooong time for a donated 'head'.
