Thanks but not the switch im looking for. I believe it some type of position switch. Located mid way back on passenger side of the top frame linkage.
You did say top switch, so I looked for that.
Good job Chrysler says they are not available as they would use the Mercedes number, buy it from Chrysler and sell it to you for at least twice the price.
Does it have a manufacturers name and number on it? If it does use this number to see if you can find it. All these little parts were not made by or just for Mercedes or Chrysler, they were out of catalogs.

You have the correct number but I don't think it is available. The last one I saw sold for $200.00. Try spraying dry lube on it. Sometimes they will stick. Here is a picture on the entire part.

Look for the number on the switch part itself, that part probably comes off unless it was glued on. If the switch has broken it probably is the micro switch itself and this parts are made to certain sizes and different makes of parts could me substituted fir the original switch. Assemblies like this are repairable, you just have to figure out how to do it. That switch assembly was made from four or more parts and each one is replaceable.
