Default Crossfire Part Number Info

Pretty much every part of the car has a part number stamped on it. This information should help a lot of you. If the part starts with A 193, then that part is exclusive to the Crossfire and you cannot get it from Mercedes. According to my Mercedes parts guy, he thinks that Mercedes labeled the Crossfire as "chassis 193."However, if the part starts with A 170 or A 003, etc then you can get that part from Mercedes or Chrysler or anyone who sells their parts. Hope this helps anyone when shopping for parts. In my experience, some parts are cheaper to buy at Chrysler and some are way cheaper at Mercedes. A Mercedes dealership will have more parts in stock if any of you really need a part.
