Default Just added a shot of 75 hp wet nitrous!

Oh man with my other mods this is quite a kick! Well my mechanic said to only use it with the high gears to not damage the transmission. What do you think?
I'm looking to do a 1/4 mile test today and clock my 0-60 to see the changes, the deal is its not an SRT6 and I got the Auto stick!
What should I be getting for a 1/4 mile on a limited xfire? How about the 0-60?
Here is a picture of it before the intrax springs: http://www.freewebs.com/pbsuperti/
Oh yeah I read that a 2004 Crossfire Graphite 6-Speed got 14.92 @ 92.68 mph (stock).

That was me...I could have gone 14.8 or even 14.7 if the car's clutch feel didn't suck so much. Not to mention the traction control.

But Auto's are usually in the 15 flat region. I say you run a 14.4-14.5 @ 96 with the juice.

Yeah that's crazy because with the stock automatic (not using the auto stick) I got 16 sec. 1/4 mile and a terrible 0-60 of 9 sec! So I decided to get the under-drive pulley (13 HP) and to try the ground wire kit supposed to be (3 HP) to add to my other mods before I go down to the track and see the difference.

i'll call a 14 flat on a 75 shot. nitrous usually puts down about 90 percent to the wheels, so say even at 60 whp added your around 240 whp. 14 flat should be easy.

Correct, a nitrous bottle will last about 30 seconds... good for drags, but lousy for road racing... LOL... I'll take him in 1 lap... Fastest NA Crossfire to date at California Motor Speedway, Willow Springs, Laguna Seca, Infineon, Buttonwillow, Sandia Motor Speedway, Spring Mountain and PIR is #431...

Bullseye, how does the clutch on the Crossfire suck so much...please enlighten me. For me I feel with a Honda Civic I can down and up shift a bit faster...is this what you mean?

Red face Re: Just added a shot of 75 hp wet nitrous!

Hey the under drive pulleys from EvoSport combined with the ground kit is a really noticeable gain in power. Also the NOS I had installed made me drop 2 sec. of my 0-60 but I have not done the 1-4 mile yet. Later.

I wonder if a better flywheel would fix this problem, I hear they are lighter so they don't waist as much power to be rotated so the flywheel will free up HP to the rear wheels and you can fly through the RPMs. look at what I found!
Fidanza flywheel from Summitracing.com
"flywheels require 40 hp to rotate, but fidanza need only 15 hp to rotate from 1,000 to 6,000 rpm. All the extra power goes to the wheels" I guess prices are about $217 - $250 if there is one for the xfire.

Hey what do you think about this flywheel idea above?

I can't really see where your injecting at from your pictures...

From what I've read on the Plymouth Prowler forums, you should not inject the wet nitrous before the throttle body because of the 90* bend on our 3.2 engines' intake fitting. Which causes puddling of fuel on the floor of the intake area, yet causing an nasty leanout condition be careful!

As far as I know only on a dry shot you go through the intake system. On a wet you mix it with fuel on a separate fuel line (I got one) as it goes for consumption, I do have a good picture of that in my site under Paul's pictures. http://www.freewebs.com/pbsuperti/. I hope I was on the right page with you on this.

Ground kit, 5 four gauge wires passing through important place in your engine, they are the red wires on the picture of my engine. The pulleys are easier to install then a tire. Old come out (there are 3) new ones in and there is anew belt with the kit. Some one has o whole thread on this, pictures and all.

Like I said earlier, if your doing the wet NOS (Fuel &Nitrous) don't spray before the 90* intake fitting. Spray after the Throttle body...
