I was at nationals this year and the Solstice was definitely the car to have in C - stock. They can fit 285 tires on the stock rear wheels and almost -3 degrees of camber with stock adjustments. Pretty sweet.

Ok does anyone know how much the stock wheels weigh by themselves. I am in search of lightweight wheels to run for next year. Having a baseline weight to drop is important. Thanks.

Not stock class legal! I spoke to CCW this morning about a pair of rear wheels. They will weigh just under 20 lbs.

Good I can get a set of wheels that weigh 21 lbs for the front for about $200 a piece and then the pair of wheels I can get for the rear weigh just under 20 lbs a piece. That will be a good weight savings overall. Thanks Andrew. I will start a thread to update everyone on my progress with the car over the winter and throughout next season.

Ok Dave where did you buy your trailer hitch for the SLK? I can probably make that work, since my exhaust will be sliced off anyway to save some weight.

I got it from www.hitchesonline.com it bolts to the SLK spare tire well... with the exhaust gone, you might be able to get it to work, but it'll probably take a lot of work. It was also ungodly expensive... ~ $450 if i remember correctly.

Ok I stopped by the Chrysler dealer today to get a price for the SRT front sway. The parts guy told me his system only lists on bar for both the standard model and the SRT. WTH? I thought the SRT had a larger front bar. If not should I get the AMG front bar or go with the 30mm H&R front bar?

Call Lenny at http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com (888) 473-9069 tell him Derek referred you. The SRT bar is larger even though the prices may be less, or the same as the limited.

The SRT/SLK32 AMG front bars are the same @ 29mm. If i were you I would go with the H&R bar. As I think it comes with better bushings... If it comes in kit form with the rear bar as well, I'll buy that from you. I know I paid ~$160 for my AMG bar and about $75 for the delrin bushings.

The H&R bar can come in a kit with front and rear or alone front or rear. But at $230 it is pricey but if you paid 160 for the front bar and 75 for bushings it would be worth it.

I'll buy your rear bar if you buy the kit.
