Do you guys want me to animate the track layout of the CMS layout we will be running at CMS so you can study the course ?

Is this the configuration we're running and which way, CW or CCW?

 

I believe they always run CMS CCW. The in car clip from the Porsche event should give you a good idea of the track layout. Derek, correct me if I am wrong.

I guess my question would be... where is the entry and exit to the course? Are they the two small ramps marked with arrows that go near the garage areas?

 

At the Porsche event they were pit entry off the oval on the south side of the track.

Good job... saves me the work. Now all you have to do is watch that RUF Porsche video from youtube and you should be able to commit the entire track to memory...

The track entrance / exit from the paddock area is through a tunnel in the center of the pit lane area where the little white lines are on your photo.

I'm not sure where they will set-up the tech inspection trailer this time, usually it is in the parking lot adjacent to the first garage on the left of the photo. And registration / drivers meetings will be held in the first garage. I have not been assigned my garage yet, but I'm hoping to get the furthest building on the right of the photo. Each building has 20 garage bays, 10 on each side of the building. The reason I want to try to get the furthest building is the hopes that there will be an empty garage area that we can SQUAT in...

Looks like we have 4 other Crossfires joining us as spectators for Saturday.... Should be fun !!!

I have GT3 & GT4 and rarely play them... Do you know if Cal Speedway is on either game ?
