Default Cadwell Park Track Video

Last weekend I had a great time back at Cadwell Park. The weather was fantastic and for the first time ever I had a fellow owner and forum member along for the ride in the form of Steve UK. It was great to have Steve along to compare notes and here the stories from his racing days there. The track was a bit busy at times and a couple of big shunts closed the track for a while, but no one was hurt and we still got plenty of track time.

Here's a link to the video:

How come you Brits get so many racetracks in one place?

The closest race track to me is in Iowa, I believe...4+ hours away...

We're a small island compared to the US, so we have a lot of everything in one place Even so people still complain that Cadwell Park is too far to drive to!

Because the UK is the motherland of the sports car, home to almost every Formula 1 team in existence, and Jeremy Clarkson won't let them drive in a straight line for more than 500ft.

Another great video Simon, thanks for sharing yet again!!

As Woody says, lots of everything squashed together, in England at least, more space in parts of Scotland and Wales but it's hilly.

Does make almost everything busy - roads, towns, tracks.... not much for drag tracks other than Santa Pod.

Spend some time here and the shots of roads in the US (the ones that go on until the horizon) look really fun. Of course when you get there, close up it's a straigt road through corn fields in the Midwest with cops hiding at the junctions to nail you and then a twisty road in Italy looks more fun.

Truth there is something fun everywhere in a Crossfire but the roads are becoming less fun and track days seem to be the way to go. Nice vid.
