Default Definately a highway car.

I am not one to brag about myself, or my car, or ***** size, ect, ect. However I was impressed Friday when we (myself, and the other guys I work with) left from lunch to head back to work, and my friend with his SRT-4 and I messed around a little bit. Neither one of us had passengers, he is mildly moded,(Intake, cold pipe, other things). Hepulls up next to me, we decel to about 45mph, I down shift to 3rd, he jumps, I follow, I am on his rear bumper, and gaining slightly until 90mph, when we let off. His best 1/4mile is 14.1, but the fact that I was gaining on him shows that we lose a lot through 1st and 2nd with the short gears, and quick shifting.
That is all, pretty fun, and a renewed confidence and joy in mycar.

Great story! You should eventually show your friend a corner or two and then see what happens to the SRT-4...

Traction Circle + FWD =...

I agree that the Crossfire seems to pull really well at slightly higher speeds. My PT Turbo (same engine as the SRT4) runs 14.4 in the 1/4 and I know the Crossfire won't turn quite that fast an ET, but I don't think my PT would show it's heels to my Crossfire from a 45mph roll. Too bad I can't drive both cars at the same time to find out!!
