Leaving for that Newport, AR ProSolo first thing tomorrow.

New tire combo will be tried out: Hankook Z214 245/35R18's up front and Hoosier A6 265/35R19 rears.

Guess I never posted results from the first event of the year...Dixie National Tour:
http://www.scca.com/popup/raceresult...12012&file=228

We did ok, 3rd and 4th out of 9 in DS, but not far off the lead. I had the fastest raw time one day and Aaron (my co-driver) had the fastest the other...but we were too cone happy.

Bryan, if you or Aaron could let me know what you think of the new 265 and the Hankook combo that would be great. Best of luck at the Pro. I will be trying out the new shocks, sway bar on the 235/35/19 and Kuhmo fronts in Danville this weekend. I am all set with tires till DC, then I will be getting a brand new set. Go destroy DS!

Sorry to thread hijack, but email gary peloquin at info@peloquins.com and tell him to get cracking on a Crossfire LSD. We need to drum up more support for a limited production run. I know you autocross guys could really use an LSD, especially a torsen.

Quaife can't deliver a diff, but Gary can.

how much is he looking to get for them?

I'm lookin' to build a gutted convertable SRT clone with the chopped windshield so I need to get my budjet under control for parts, still lookin' for the donor car maybe next year, probably follow HDDP's engine build and stand alone ecu,

He hasn't said. His standard vw torsens are around $850 a pop. He's done custom LSDs before. One other application was for the Dodge A413 Transmission (used in some older Neons). I think that diff ended up being around $1100 or something.

Cheaper than Quaife, and probably better.

Enough talk Maxwell, put down the money and give Gary an email!

I will report...I'm taking Kumho 245's and Hoosier 235's along as well, so depending on how things go, we could get a direct comparo.

$850 is a great price, will we be starting a group buy? I'm guessing my project is gonna be spead out over 3 years down the road, unless I can score a real srt within that time. anyways I'm interested.

How does this guys kit differ from the Phantom grip?

Maxwell. It will probably cost MORE than $850. Probably around the $1100 mark.

It is a joke that he has going among other autocrossers, since everyone makes fun of us for racing a Chrysler.

Class results are here:
http://www.scca.com/popup/raceresult...12135&file=248
Tough class, I drove pretty well...tough course for our short gearing...lots of time spent in 3rd (gear and place as it turns out).

Challenge results here:
http://www.scca.com/documents/result...2135_Super.pdf
Made it to the final 8 and lost to the eventual winner.

More details later...

Good show, nocones, good show!

What do you think needs to be improved on the car if you were to move out of stock class?

Also what is "Bump Class 1" and why did they match you (D-Stock) with a "Bump Class 1" car in the final eight? Seems weird to me.

At a Prosolo if you have less than 5 people entered you are thrown into a Bump class which is pax based. From what Aaron said the car is working really well it was just a tough class and course for you guys.

My car got its shakedown this past weekend locally and feels excellent but I am still trying to get it to rotate better.

Sorry mates.

The phantom grip...the basics physics of it says that it shouldn't work and it doesn't.
