My son called me saying there was an SRT6 at the Orlando track Friday night that posted a 11.6 & 11.9. The car had a NeedsWings intake, stock exhaust without the rear cats and resonator, a pully and methanol injection. My son said he is signed up on this forum, so whoever you are, please post on here and let us know what other times you posted. Great job!

he had a meth kit already installed even when the biggest thing around this forum was Renntech and SI and literally only a handful of people would even dare put on a pulley.

What pulley?

If he has alcohol injection he must have a custom tune and had his timing advanced, that is the biggest benefit of alcohol injection.

 

If I am correct that this is Harry that we are talking about, he has an Evosport pulley kit.

Don't think the owner of this car ever has been on the site. But like srt6_crossfire said, his buddy that did post about him was screaminjoe. I don't recall seeing him on here either for a while. That track puts up great numbers as well. I told Rob that the tracks with concrete lauch pads are some of the best in the country. Everyone that holds a national NHRA or IHRA event probably has concrete most of the way down the track or at least to the 660' mark.
If you search the posts for screaminjoe, I remember he did some kind of write up on his mod, and custom potentiometer mod to the MAF sensor. His buddy's pic on dragtimes.com shows drag radials and the nozzles on the front spoiler. Some tracks will ban you if you catch you with this mod. It's because of the possibility of putting liquid down on the track and causing your back tires to loose traction and bam into the wall or your opponent. Now in your engine compartment spraying into the intake or supercharger is different.

i wanted to go to SOW this May but I need to sort out my suspension issue first.

Hopefully i figure it out soon as i'm installing an intake this weekend and will test the s/c pulley and if that goes well might end up getting it and definitely would want to hit the track right away.

how bout you, you up for another track day? did you get to use the $50 credit we had for NASA? my membership expired already so that credit pretty much went down the toilet.
