Wed. 05/07/08 going to Moroso tonight to run my 2005 crossfire SRT-6 that i bought on Monday yep i'm new here but soon i know what and where to do things tonight will be stock with 19000 miles on it. with stock tires. I have a PT Turbo that runs 12.93 @ 108 stock turbo auto ,nos, exhaust, all amx pipes ,, that is about it, if any one goes tonight stop by and say hello. jim

Good god, Jim, how did I miss your first post? Yeah, I got your PM over at PT Crew but I didn't know you'd gone and bought a Crossfire!! Welcome to the sheer fun of a RWD sports car!

Being an old AMX fan/racer/owner you need to check out what forum member +fireamx has done to his car!

 

Had I seen this earlier, I might've tried to come out to watch. Maybe another time.

 

I bought it Monday took it to the track on Wed and here is what happened I weighted it at the track,, 3120 without me in it ,add 200 for me. 3320 down the track and here is what happened, 1 ,2 and 3 run getting use to the tranny , the tires and the track with the rear wheel drive this car feels just like my amx drag car did but this thing is quiet and runs great.,, my 6 runs were

this is on street tires, a best of 13.40 this is bone stock ,,dirty air filters ( two of them) and with 36 lbs of air in the tires. not bad for unmodded ,give me a few weeks and maybe the 12's with out mods. jim

 

Hey Jim, I wish I could take a SRT6 down the track, I bet that would be a lot of fun. Oh and by the way, thanks for validating what I've been saying ever since I joined the forum. These cars are New AMXs in so many ways.
