Default New Best Times tonight

So I went to Bradenton Motorsports Park tonight and had some success. The car started off slow 13.3 from the first run but after some tweaking of my launch (and some cooler temps ) I was able to pull off a personal best in the car with just an intake and the cooling mods.

13.078 @ 107.97 but the kicker was the 60'. I finally cracked a 2.0 with a 1.999 w/ ALL SEASON TIRES!! (1/8mi was an 8.37)

The people I talked to were quite impressed with the performance of the car with the amount of modifications done to it.

Overall I was seeing sub 13.2 times toward the end of the night and it was only 73*F. I could probably get into the 12's with maybe 50*F weather but I'll probably be well into the 12's after I get a pulley and tune in the upcoming month.

I like our track, I think you can get some good times on it, as long as the weather is good (humidity is always bad). I'm waiting for it to get cooler until I take it back out there, probably December. Hopefully with some TVT tuning as well. I ran a 15.0 in a stock automatic N/A, so you're a good two seconds faster with an SRT. I wish there was another Crossfire out there when I went, or a 350z/S2000/RX8 something similar to race.

Lookin' good! And I want to see you run with a pulley and tune, as long as you aren't lined up next to me! Again, Great job! Also go out and invest in some drag radials and I'll surely avoid you at any track! LOL! I still have to take care of the cooling problems since I've noticed first hand how well your car reacts to them. So when I do get some extra cash, I'll invest in the spacers, Johnson pump and HE.

I might get the pulley and a set of drag radials first and hold off on the tune provided my AFR numbers are good. I don't think you absolutely need a tune after an S/C pulley but I'm going to look at some 17" rims and drag radials today and hopefully get them on order

Cool Re: New Best Times tonight

Hi there, a few of the UK drivers are going to Santa Pod Drag Raceway next week to try the quarter mile.
Can any of the experienced racers tell me what sort of times and terminal quarter mile speed we should expect from the stock/unmodified cars? Temp will be around 15c as winter is coming. We will post the times when we return.
Cheers, Steve - UK
