The Crossfire will be returned to street duty after the final run and has been replaced by a purpose built Class A car for next year.

But I couldn't help myself and took one of my toys for a run during the passenger session.
130MPH over the top of the back straight rise changing into fifth and got air under the car, headed for the grass with no control but fortunately managed to hold onto her.

Needless to say the next lap was a bit slower, pity about 1963 aerodynamics.

Yes it is My wife bought it for my birthday this year.
Chrome moly tube chassis 2006 Z06 runnning gear D & D Body it is in the Vette Showcase hall of fame. Joins a long list of other muscle cars I own, just cant seem to get enough

 

Good job indeed, and nice looking Vette too, glad you were able to keep it out of the grass. I've always heard those Vettes had just enough lift to make them a really bad airplane
