Thanks Jerry (LET)! 12.175 114.24!
Wow! I can't believe how strong the car ran today at Orlando SpeedWorld! The temps were in the mid 70's and I wanted to test out Jerry's latest reflash! Considering the mods I have, I am overjoyed with the results! The time sheets below were back to back which were the 3rd and 4th runs! I also posted my last and final shortram mod which seems to work out best with my setup. Can't wait for even cooler temps!
Mods: Code-3 pulley, Let tune, DIY short ram intake, deleted rear cats/resonator, Nitto Drag Radials and removed grille. Threw in 1 gallon of 100 race fuel to mix with the 1/4 tank of 93, just to prevent any possible detonation. And I haven't even started any of the cooling mods yet!

And my cheap $150 shortram intake....Who says this isn't good enough? Results speak for sure!

That s great man! I hope I can get close to that next weekend!
How loud is your car without the rear cats, did it make much of a difference in sound? do you have the stock muffler?

I will have to get mine removed then, i have the magnaflow muffler and it is about 10% louder than stock. still really nice and quiet in the cabin so i want to be careful not to get that drone in the car. i will give it a shot and see how it goes.
Thanks and again, great job on the 12.17!

Great Runs - Just some simple inexpensive mods - the SRT6 just keeps getting better and better - I bet your in 11's soon!
That is AWESOME for those mods! Congrats!!! I hope to post up similar times next weekend~ Tell me about your wheel and tire set up...What wheels did you mount the Nitto's too?

Excellent! I have a simular set-up, w/LET 181 pulley spacers and recent tune, but have the stock exhaust and street tires . In your opinion how much faster do you think the tires are making a differenece and the res deleted?
My 60 ft times are 1.91-1.93 and 1/8 times are 8.2-8.3 w/ speed of 86/87.

Got the Voxx MG 17x8's at Discount tires for $131 a piece plus the Nitto 275/40-17 drags for $155 a piece at Firestone.
Just installed LET tune on my daughters SRT Friday. I haven't had the 181 pulley put on her's yet. We are going to run her's, mine and AMX Jim's SRT as soon as it is fixed to see what kind of track differences we find. Each has a little different set-up.

Congrats on the GREAT times..................and your 60' times are equally awesome.
I'm dying to get out to the track again but must wait until the 21st.

Mimi05SRT6, great runs man. Great duplication for the back to backs. Too bad our tracks are closed till next season. Enjoy the power.

Orlando Speedworld recently signed a new deal with vp fuels to prep the track differently now. They don't use vht anymore, they use something that vp fuels makes and i have heard from a lot of my friends that the track hooks a lot better now. They are having their best 60 foots in the last couple of weeks. Just thought I'd throw that out there. It surely made my car look faster without any cooling mods on a day that was in the mid 70's!
Hopefully I can get out there when the temps are down into the 50's to see what my baby will do! Just think what your times would be if you came down and tried it out now!

I was there Sunday. Mimi05SRT was happier than a kid on Christmas morning after his first run... 12.2x if I remember correctly. Then came the 12.17 and he was happier still! I'm definitely getting a tune now. I was impressed at what the new tune did for him.
BTW, thanks Mimi05SRT for suggesting I take my grill off. My trap speed used to be a consistant 107MPH. With the grill off I hit 108 & 109 on all 5 runs for the day. I also finally broke into the 12's! Previous best was 13.0 @ 107. New best is 12.89 @ 108 with a 2.0 60'.
What a fun day!

I found an online calculator that will estimate a 0-60MPH based on 1/8 mile results:
