Default phantom grip at the track

I went to the track last night and my 60' went down, as i had a phantom grip installed before i was running 1.89 to 1.90 60' after the phantom grip i was 1.83 =1.84 3 out of 4 runs.,, it rained from 6 to 6:30 pm we just sat in the cars waiting, then they started to dry the track,, at 8:08 i got my first run and the track was still wet and i still matched my 60' form before, but then i noticed i was running 1.84 for my 60" the thing (phantom grip really works. I am working on a group buy for the phantom grip if any of you are interested, here are my time slips from last night,

I can tell you this,my 60" was 1.89 to 1.90 last week (cooler weather) yet after the P.G. i ran 1.83 to 1.84 ,,,the 1.89's was in 51 degree weather, last night was 64 degrees,, jim

NO troubles to date, 1/4 mile and autocrossing about 60 runs at about 45 - 60 seconds each.

I don't know about the rest here, but I see no real advantage of the PG, it's kinda like a sloppy LSD unit, so it's no really worth the time dealing with it for autcross, better off paying $1200 for the posi if you really want to track the car, I know a lot of you guy are drag racing the car but it's just not my thing, as I fing the electronic posi traction good enough for me.

So anyone go yesterday. You guys are wasting killer DA. It's a shame. Me and Chiromikey want to trailer out there for some of that.

the PG just won't work as well as the posi for autocrossingor time trials. yeah it's ok for drag racing, but so is the fake electronic posi that comes with the car.

the PG only works under load so you can still loose traction on turns where as with the posi it's always connected even under no throttle. Also you can tune a posi clutch pack for tightness as far as I know you cant tune the PG system

I would have expected 60' times with drag radials or slicks and the phantom grip to be more in the 1.5 to 1.6's. Until that happens I will just save my $ and spend it on something else. It is nice to see you experimenting with it though, it may end up making a big difference, who knows.

The first person to get 1.60's on all motor will have the most powerful SRT6 on the block. 1.70's are on the best days in whatever state is being run at. The drag radials will hook up better, but will take more launch control (by driver) to get those 60's.
