Got my drag wheels today
Ok, Steve (32Krazy!) picked up a set of CLK wheels (13 lbs ea.), and sold me a pair. Not only did he sell them to me, but he took them to a friends shop and bead blasted them for me at no extra charge. They were pretty dirty and had clear coat peeling. Thanks Steve for doing this for me. I owe you one buddy. Anyway, they came in the mail today, and i got to work on them. I put a coat of etching primer on them, sanded, primered, painted, and clear coated. Next, I will be getting some MT ETs mounted later this week. Here are some pics of the process:

Lucky you... we MIGHT be open in April.... if the rains let up...
But at least the snow stays in the mountains where it belongs.....
Edit: Yippppppeeeeee.... I just saw that Woodburn is doing the first T&T on March 6&7. (weather permiting of course). I guess I better get all my little projects done on the Aero.

I can remeber when they were just starting up, and you could only get their beer at local bars in Colorado. If memory serves me correctly, Jeff started the company in Lake Palmer Colorado when it was just a one man operation. Then later moved to Fort Collins. When I lived in Colorado, I was quite the connoisseur of micro brew beers.
Prior to living in Colorado, I lived in Stuttgart Germany for 3 years. That is where my passion for good beer began. Now, I live in Middle Georgia where micro brews have never caught on. sigh!! Ohhh..... My favorite type of beer is a good quality hefeweizen.
ahhhh..... nothing like a good doppelbock. When I would visit Bavaria, that was always the beer of choice for me. We always called it monk beer, as it is brewed by monks in the local monestaries. It is funny, becase most of the monestaries in Bavaria have very steep and long flights of stairs to get up to the monestary. I always imagined the monks getting drunk in town on doppelbock and having to climb all those stairs to get home. LOL The Bavarian versions generally start at over 10% alcohol by volume and I have seen them up to 16%. Now those will knock you back on your seat. haha!

My favorite microbrews near you would be in Auburn, at a place called Old Auburn Ale House...they generally have a half dozen nice microbrews on tap.

P.S. slight exageration, but not by much!

I lived in Loveland for 6 years and that is where I first had the Fat Tire beer. New Belgium does make some good beers..... fortunately, I dont drink much anymore..
Oregon has tons of micro breweries... you could spend weeks sampling them all......
