Default Getting faster!

Had another "Solocross" today. The track configuration today was the same as the last one and I was 1 second faster. I finished around 8th overall (I still haven't seen the official results) including an Ariel Atom that was the fastest of all the cars. The second fastest was a highly modified STI followed by an all out race car (BMW). I'm really happy with my progress and if I ever find the best alignment and tire pressures I can drop another second or two. I'm dialing in the negative camber in the rear and went the wrong way for today. -2º was bad, tried -2.5º and it was worse. Ok, let's try -1º. Worked great but tire wear said add some back. Today I had -1.4º and it was too much, lots of slipping and sliding in the rear. I felt like a drifter part of the time. Not to mention the minimal time on the track required tire pressure increases to improve times. (hot pressures are 32 psi front and 34 psi rear) Normally I set the pressures cold at 25 front and 28 rear (perfect for a 20 minute event) but it's way too low for a short event. So next event I'm going back to -1º camber in the rear which I know sticks like crazy glue even if the tires wear on the outside. Here's my video from today (2nd lap was the fastest .....) The drum didn't do any real harm, the ABS activated and I had no hope of turning. Funny thing is I didn't think I was pushing the limit, I still don't understand what exactly caused the drum beat. I hope you enjoy the video.
