Default One Bad @ss Nissan

Unless you are driving a yellow vert with an RCompart special Edition transplant, stay away from this car!
AMS Alpha 10 GT-R goes 9.3@153 MPH - Full video - Car Videos on StreetFire

1000HP is insane
9.33 quarter mile is kinda nice though.
If you get one of these bad boys, buy extra trannys. I'm told even the stock 600HP models burn their slushboxes in about 30K.

Luckily, the AMS Alpha 10 comes with upgraded transmission goodies.

It is a very solid car. Ridiculously fast, but very solid.

This car as well as the video has been up on several other forums for the past few days. It truly is an speaks words to the abilities of people with a goal in mind...

...then again so does what Rudy did with the 55k motor. Both are absolutely incredible. I think once they get the SRT55 modified, they should run against this bad boy hahahaha.

That would be a cool event. If not too far I would want to drive there to see it.

That said, does TAZ & CO believe the SRT55 can achieve 9's?

Not sure what they think now. But there are modified E55s hitting high 10s without nitrous. Seeing as the crossfire falls about a thousand pounds less than an E55...it could happen. Though it would have be in a coupe since they are lighter...and not sure at what point a roll cage and 5point harness are required at public track days. I think its is 10.99 and quicker though don't quote me on that.

Gateway in St Louis it was 12.99 or lower. Like my NA had a worry there.

I suggest that a roll cage wouldn't be a bad plan for TAZ. I mean that puppy is crazyfast to the point of obscene. I have heard OleDoc talk about real roll bars, a few inches higher and secured to the floor pan. I think it would give the car a bitchin' appearance but wonder if the top would still clear.

AMS is 4 blocks from my work. They started way back in the day building DSM's out of a small shop in Arlington Heights....now they are huge. But I could see a lot better ways to spend $150,000.
