I was all over the place on this video, I know, but I got it together and set a personal best of 56.950 on my recently new, now ready to be flipped, Yokohama Advan AD08's. As reference my previous best was 57.1? on Pilot Sport Cups. These AD08's are great if you can keep them at the right pressure. So far they seem to like 36 to 38 psi hot. Unfortunately they really change pressure dramatically when abused. The front tires increase 11 to 12 lbs from starting cold pressure and the rears about 8. So as you can imagine they have to be set real low to begin with which they don't like too much. Anyway, I'm really learning with these tires. With the Cups, I never knew if I was near the limit until they let loose. Also, I was never sure about my setup either. Now I think the setup information is becoming clearer. Once again, I hope you get a kick out of my video. I only wish I had any of the later runs to show you. I was 2 seconds faster later in the day. From this camera location you get a better idea of the speed.
