Default upsolute 1/4 mile times

haha, no numbers in here. im just hoping that this part of the forum will encourage people to go drag this car with upsolute and bring us some time slips, because honestly i know that alot of people out there are like me and refuse to spend money on a mod without timeslips or dyno's.

Corvette club here has rented a local drag strip May 15, 2004. I might take my "normal" crossfire there and see what the 1/4 mile time is. It is at Milan MI, if anyone is interested. The drags are in the morning. Guess I better bring my own shoe polish.

Landho.... I see you have added "Autocrossing now" to your signature.... Have you autocrossed it yet? If so how did you do and what did you think?

Did one class. best time was 38.8sec. improved by 6 secs as I went. The good drivers (instructors) were doing 34-35sec. The first "real" race is this weekend. Looks like I'll be running with WRX, mazdaspeed protege, jaguar x, RSX type S, GTI vr6, BMW 325i in the TDS class. I'll post my results next week. I like it and the xfire really handles the slalom portion nice. I just left the auto in 2. Is that what you do?

I start in 1st with the traction control off. Then I keep it in second gear. Now and then if there's a really tight turn that chiokes the speed down I will slap it into 1st for a good, hard launch off. I'm running DSN for the rest of this year. For the winter series I'll be running DSP (Prepared because of the chip and K&Ns)

The race this weekend is at Ypsi, at the GM plant by the airport.
I did the SCCA class couple of weeks ago. There is another class next Sat (May15) at Saginaw. Go to www.myautoevents.com for classes and races. www.tracktime.com also has classes.
