Keep on it, they will get back to you.

As far as the oil extractor goes, may take you up on use. I have to buy a filter and oil. I'll let you tell me the Amsoil story. I'm not too sure about using 5W40?

Yeah it was right around there...but I doubt it was 95degrees when Brian ran...that CLS is dirty.

...and the BMW M5 is beating a lot of the Corvettes that are what Jake referred to as "typically modded"

...apparently a lot of the domestic guys are having a lot of WTF moments and asking lots of questions of the Eurocharged guys.

Dave, no need to worry 'bout the 5W40. Most M/B dealers have changed over to the Mobil 5W from the 0W for all M/B s. The 0w was mostly recommended for cold weather starts, which shouldn't be a problem for Texas cars. I've run nothing but 5w40 here in Florida since buying my XF 40,000 miles ago and get 7000 miles between changes with great results. Amsoil worked the best but cost and the hassles of obtaining it are a real pain. I found Lubrimoly works just as good and is alot cheaper and can be found on ebay in 5 liter jugs. I also bought a 10 pack of M/B fleece filters off ebay so I'm set for a few years of changes.

Also waiting on the E/C boys for my tune.....

Hey Crew!

Back and ready to get back to work! If we lose connection to the laptop its not a big deal as the laptop will continue doing what it was before! No danger of bricking a ecu. We do around 3-5 a day so we are well practiced lol.

Has everyones questions been answered? We had over 1100 emails to reply to and finally today should be back on track!

YouTube - M5 standing mile

YouTube - CLS55 Standing Mile

And you wouldn't believe the local vette guys when I ran the cls. Floored them. Typical vettes run 160 modded. The cls ran 171 under 97 degree heat without a trunk mount cooling! (dynos at over 600 wtq) The m5 ran a record 170.4!

Say what? I was getting ready to PM you to see how you liked the tune and all this time you were himing and hawing about? I have a lap top lined up at a buddy's house with wireless internet so when that cable gets here I won't be wasting time. I guess I'll be letting you know how I like it before you have yours.

Les I was originaly planning to replace the InMotion tune on my car with the Eurocharged tune, in the mean time a 2008 (I know they were built in 2005 but it was relased for sale in Australia in 2008, so it's stamped as a 08') SRT-6 came up for sale at a fantastic price so I purchased that and am going to sell my 2005.

So the new tune is going on the new car! Hopefully I'll get the cable this week and I'll let you guys know my thoughts, I'm also going to the track in a few weeks so hopefully I'll see an 11 sec run with the new car and new tune.

John
