this was the timmayfest event i went to in early june. the track was ours for the whole nite and we had a blast!! im in there a couple times i have the tape all over trying to protect my paint. enjoy!

Nice video Steve. Looks like some nice scenery there. The first black Merc looked pretty stout. Was it a CLS55 or CLS550? Thanks for sharing.

 

that car was a beast bob. i didnt get to chat with him but i believe thats the cls that did the cl55 engine swap into a cls550 and rudy did the electronics.

 

Ahhh.... that makes sense. It did seem too strong to be a stock or lightly modded CLS550. I have been looking at them lately. I think that next year I will be looking to purchase either a CLS55 or a CLS550. I will most likely be focusing my search on 2007 - 2008 models. I am trying to convince myself that I will be happy with the 550, but there is another side of me saying go a year or two older and get a CLS63. This will be to replace my Odyssey, and become a big brother to the 6.

it originally started out as a bmw car show to raise money for the make a wish fund. this yr the e/c guys got involved and the benzes started to roll in. there was a gtr and a aston martin and a bently so i guess everyone wanting to show is welcome, but it is primarily a bmw event. the track was set up by e/c and 50$ per person to race all nite

 

They definitely got involved a lot more this year. Last year they were just participants, this year they were the main sponsor.

They ended up raising $1,500 for the Make A Wish Foundation this year, and it all started by word of mouth with the BMW guys.
