Awesome Jim! Can't wait to see your car when it hooks up someday. I guess even the LSD can't handle all that powa! Keep the vid's coming. By the way, did you say you use the Mopar ATF+4 tranny fluid? I think one of your posts somewhere mentioned that.

Sounds good. The Chrysler dealerships mess up quite often, they even put the ATF+4 in my car when I especially requested the synthetic Crossfire/Sprinter one which is Mercedes specific.

Thanks for posting up the videos. I'm sure your already trying different things to figure out the traction issue. Let us know what works, I need help without your power.

That's fantastic Jim. Keep up the good work. I'm sure the times will go down as you get used to the car more and more.

It's only gonna get quicker each time out............you just have to get used to the power. What RPM are you launching at? PSI in tires(front and rear)? If you could cut a 1.6 60' that would drop your ET to 11.2

I run 44psi(cold) in the fronts and 18psi(cold) in my Hoosier DRs. You may want to run on a full tank just to get more weight over the rear wheels. Roll into throttle or floor it when launching?

EDIT: 11psi is way too low on any drag RADIAL............17psi is about the lowest you should ever go. Now when/if you switch to a true slick.........then 11psi is perfectly fine.

Super cool! Glad to see one of these Rudy Specials getting track time!
Now to work on traction devices.

Are those MT ETs? Wow..... If you couldn't get those to hook at 11lbs., you may need to tub the rear end. LOL I hope you get it figured out. If you can get her to stick, I bet you could get a 1.4 - 1.5 60'. That would be awesome. Good luc with it, and I look forward to hearing the progress.

P.S. I run 18 lbs. in my MT ETs

AS a former AMX owner, couldn't resist looking at your post. Don't know much about Crossfires....although I love the one I bought a few months ago. I had about 300 passes with my AMX and my Spirit. Best DOT tires I found for launching were from www.daymotorsports.com. They were really sticky. Best of luck with your machine. I'm trying to figure why my 2007 Roadster is starting out in 2nd.

Bet the rocker switch beside the auto shifter is in the (W) mode. Try switching the rocker switch to the (S) mode.. Squirrel Crusher

That's what I do with the best success.

Can't wait to see what Jim's car will do when the temps come down this Fall/Winter. I want to race him in the 1/8 mile only, since I may only have a chance there! LOL!
