Just another 11 second SRT6.
Just another 11 second SRT6.
I ran a 11.91 today at Beech Bend, so I guess I'm the newest member of the 11 second club. The DA was around 400' on this run.
Here's the slip and video. That's Steve taping the run with the exciting commentary at the end.

Re: Just another 11 second SRT6.
Awesome! You are close to my best of 7.55 in the 8th, and looks like you are on your way. Hopefully the weather holds up for you for awhile before Winter sets in. I ran an 11.88 2 weeks ago with the DA about the same as what you had. So you are just about right there with me. Hope you get some negative DA's to help drop your times even more. Did you get the LSD put in? Congrats and welcome to the club!

I feel my 60' and A/F are holding me back. I looked at my slicks last night and the contact marks lead me to believe I'm running too much air pressure. I'm going to drop it down to 15 psi on my next outing. Hopefully this will net me some 1.7' or better with some addition time behind the wheel.
As for the A/F, I sent Eurocharged an email requesting a revision. Currently I'm seeing an A/F of 11.0 at 20 psi. I'd like to lean that out to 12.2 but no leaner, at least not up top. Lean is mean down low where there is less load on the engine IMO, but up top I like it a little rich.
It's going to be tough to catch you, but I promise to give it a good bit of effort.

How much Horsepower does your car have?

My A/F is 12.6 around 6000 keeping it strong on top, which is the reason why I like to mix some race fuel in there to prevent any pre-detonation. No one wants timing pulled at the end of the 1/4 mile. I think I still have the "1/4 mile tune" from Eurocharged

Thanks, Mike, and good luck on your quest. I wish you the best of luck.
I just got my retune (revision) tonight from Adam (Eurocharged), so hopefully I'll see some leaner A/F's tomorrow. Now I just need to figure out the tire pressure and burnout. Then I can up the launch RPM and let her eat! Hopefully you, Steve, and I will accomplish our goals this season. The rest of the guys will have to wait.
