I've got some goals next spring that will be interesting to say the least.

Perhaps I can be the first "Limited" in the 12's? (Excluding the V-8 monsters)

Looks like AMX Jim will be bringing his V8 to Orlando on December 4th. I have to make sure I don't sleep at the line and get a jump on him then watch him reel me in from the mirror. Just hope they prep the track ok so we can all hook up.

Anthony, Steve thanks for posting up all those runs on youtube, I got a real kick watchin them.
I do have a couple of questions.
Are both of your cars equally modded?
I see Steve uses the twin CAI vs Anthony's single version. (That was interesting).
What diameter slicks were you using?
I realize Steves car weighs about 70 lbs. more "stock" than the XF, but he does have a smaller battery.
I think it's amazing what "sleepers" these cars are, and what monsters they can be turned into.

I have the 181 and stock differential, whereas Steve has the C3 and Wavetrac. We both run the CM30 and larger heat extractor. I have the SL55 fuel pump and Steve uses the stock pump with front fuel rail x-over.

Mine eat's SLK's and his eats ZO6's.

I think that's about it.

Thanks Anthony, just so you know, many of us "NA" owners enjoy vicarious "victories" every time a SRT wins a race.
It makes the uninformed think twice about messing with any Crossfire.

Nice. We both are lucky so far with the stock Diff. I've had about 200 runs at the track the last 3 years and am still amazed how well my rear diff is holding up. So I will not be surprised when it does eventually go. All I have is the C3 pulley, CAI, Eurocharged tune, and rear cats/resonator removed. The only cooling I have is the fan mod from the tune and the Code-3 thermostat, which is basically the stock one with 4 holes drilled through it. Takes a long time for the car to warm up during the cooler months though. And of course, the 1 colder Denso Iridium plugs, IK22. Do you remove your car seat when racing? I remove mine and take everything out of the trunk for the track. And I weigh 160 lbs. My drag radials and rims only weigh 5 lbs less than the stock ones.

I leave the seat in place as well as floor mats and other stuff. However, currently about 7lbs of interior pieces from the hatch have been removed due to a water leak. I won't replace them until I'm certain the leak is fixed.

I also have 1-step colder plugs. I weigh 180lbs, so that helps a little. As for my tires, they are 255/50/16's on lightweight CLK wheels. I doubt each wheel/tire combo weighs more than 25 lbs.

I've received a few requests, so here's the wheel info:

These wheels were a factory option on 98-00 CLK-Class. These wheels are a 129 Type and their MB Part# is 208 401 0002.

The wheels are forged Aluminum and weigh approximately 13lbs each.

Lug Pattern: 5x112mm

Wheel Size: 16x7in

Offset: 37

You will need shorter lug bolts to clear the emergency brake.

i wanted to add a few things about the weight. while my car is a tad bit heavier the shuriken battery drops about 30 lbs off the front . then the 6 piston caliper and 2 piece rotors drop another 30 lbs off the front. remove all the trash out of the back and there goes another 20 lbs. so without getting crazy i dropped close to 80 lbs off the car making about the same weight as the xfire. my pulley is definately much smaller than the 181 and was never designed to be its equal. the ability of the 181 to drop into the 11's with such ease is truely amazing. add the sl55 fuel pump and grip was running rich! retune and he will be even harder to stay up with.
