The last race day of the season at Beech Bend is this Saturday. I hope some of you guys can make it. Just look for a SLK32 trapping 120's. I'll be in the Crossfire parked beside him.

Wish I can make it out there. I'll be heading to Bradenton, FL this Sunday for some fun drag racing. What's the weather forecast for tomorrow? Nice and cool? Good luck and hope you guys continue to break records!

 

It appears the DA will be hovering around 500-1,000', so it won't be any better than last week. I still want to give it one last shot for fun. My last outing my best run was with a 697' DA. I really wish I could get my hands on a -2,500 this season.

alas i wont be there either. i have a nagging issue with the tcu mod and it isnt worth racing and possibly hurting the car. so with much moral support anthony if i dont see a 11.7 timeslip from you dont come back until you have it!!!!

Well, no record for me today. Temps were higher than anticipated (high 60's low 70's) and the crosswind pretty nasty at times.

My best today was a 11.96 @ 117.56 with a 1.78 sixty footer.

Adam (Camaro and Crossfire) was there also with his NA Crossfire. He's got big plans for his XF, so keep your eye out for him.

 

What was the NA running?

 

His auto was running 15.1-15.4 I believe. Next time out he might be in the mid 11's though.

 

So, when is he putting the V-8 in?

I like your 117 mph trap. Still haven't hit that mark yet myself. My best at Bradenton was only a 12.1 @ 114 on Sunday. It was 90 degrees at the track and a heck of a crosswind. I'm still shaking my head that it was that warm this late in November. Oh well. Hopefully the temps will be back down on December 4th for the Funday Sunday at the Orlando Speedworld Track. It's so nice to have the tracks open all year round down here.

Hopefully soon I will get my hands on a 55 kompressor motor, as long as the deal goes through. In the mean time I bought those cl600 calipers off of Anthony last weekend, so that'll be my first little project with my new X-fire. Thanks again anthony and I'll update you guys when progress is being made. Looking for either slk55 amg calipers or a clk500 calipers for the rears if any of you know someone who has em...
