How about a video?
Of track time from Sunday the 5th. Transponders weren't available so I have no idea what, if any improvement was realized. I was braking earlier than usual because my car was moving around a lot at maximum deceleration. It's most likely an alignment problem. I didn't bother to have it checked after raising the back of the car. As the day went on I felt faster but we all know about butt dynos and unofficial times. Comments are welcome as usual. I removed the lens cover from the case of the GoPro so you can hear what the engine sounds like with the downpipes. (closed) The GTR owner was on a road course for the first time and I hope I was never so pitiful. The 3rd. heat the instructor drove his car and I still caught him and got a point bye but wouldn't you know, ding dang GoPro only works when it wants to. So no video. This coming Sunday the 12th is the first Solo event of the 2012 season.

The GTR was doing his first ever track time so he was real slow and careful, which is the correct thing to do. I've raced with GTR's that are well driven and I can out brake them, stay with them in the corners but they are on the gas earlier and harder coming off the corners. I have great respect for the car. It's pretty darned super if you ask me. That particular white GTR does 10 flat in the 1/4 mile and recorded 178 mph in the 1/2 mile. Now about those pesky SRT-6's that give them fits.

I rarely get passed, now. They're always faster cars that show up but with modifications far beyond mine or all out race cars. I'm hoping you can hear the tires on the video. Without the sound of the tires it looks like a walk in the park. I hope to have another video from this coming Sunday in Ponce, the concrete playground.
