Yes, he crossed the line first by 1.3 seconds and ran a 148.9 (mph) pass to my 133.9... So, no contest.

No worries, it was to be expected. It was a Z-06 with over 600 horsepower (intake, tune, headers, exhaust), WIDE tires, and weighs roughly the same as our cars. We aren't invincible.

When you're at an event of that magnitude, to even be mentioned among the great cars is an honor. To wit, everyone there would've gotten murdered, had they lined up next to the GT-R with 1,300 AWHP

That was the one that ran 190. In a standing half mile.

There's always a bigger fish.

Thanks man! The gap stayed the same for pretty much the whole race. I think if we had an additional mile/ half-mile, he would've reeled me in (better gearing and no heat soak).

Then again, his car had a stock ECU tune, so his limiter would (should) kick in at 155mph. Mine is de-limited. If I could hold that gap until the 155 mark, it would be curtains.
