Roof Cam video from Sunday's AutoX
Here's a link to the thread on the autocross.us site that has the video from last Sunday's AutoX. Scroll down to the 3rd post (I think) Jim has posted the videos in this post. Just click on my name to watch it. The roof cam really came out great. http://www.autocross.us/forum/viewto...t=109&start=20
WM,
That is really neat. I found it difficult to see where the track went next.
Did you win?
What is the maximum time you can record for? I would like to be able to save some of my journeys on a daily basis for posterity. Would be nice to have 2 cameras - one for road, and one for dash.

We walk the course several times prior to driving it. It helps a bunch.
I won my class and was 11th over all. 92 cars were entered.
The camera belongs to my friend that has the autocross.us web site. I don't know much about it or it's capabilities.... Sorry. But, the camera is called a "Cone Cam" and it's nothing more than a PC Cam on a suction cup mount. It's cable plugs into a small digital video camera. The camera records the audio inside the car.

I suppose it is limited to the duration and battery power from the digital camera.
I am thinking of using a similar set-up to record the time it takes me to cover a measured distance, rather than trying to use a stop-watch.
Will let you know how I get on.
