Check out My Crossfire Inspired Racing Helmet
So I needed a racing helmet for the up coming race on the 27th. My old helmet didn't fit from when I was 16 However I have about 9 Motocross Helmets from racing motocross/supercross. So I took my lest favorite looking, but most comfortable Snell 2000, and started turning it into my new Race Car helmet. Now it's only the first stages of graphics, so it will come into focus soon enough. I just got excited and wanted to share it with all of you. Tell me what you think.
I'm sorry Sir, I might be missunderstanding what you are trying to say. The pictures are only the first few base coats. So there are many details, that you won't be able to see just yet. And for your Red Thing comment, I really don't know were that came from but, Ok. I'm taking it as, you think I'm stupid. Is that what your implying Redcross?

Redcross always has that Red Thing comment in his signature. He has a red car. I don't think that was meant for you at all.
Are you painting the helmet yourself? It looks pretty cool. What else are you doing to it? Pictures never do things like that any justice! Saw the picture of you wheelieing on your bike. Hope you never have to test out that helmet!
I finally figured it out later on that night by reading other posts from RedCross. It was just a little strange reading it a simply as he wrote it. Its kind of like reading someone else's jokes. You don't know them, so you don't know the rythem or the tone in which they are saying it. You know what I mean? Any who.. As far as the helmet goes, Yes I'm painting it myself. Actually I'll up load a picture of what it looks like now. I haven't really been able to work on it as much as I would like, but It will finished for the 27th of this month.
Oh ya, I tested all my helmets out a long time ago. I've broken pretty much everything you can break on your body, from Spine to toes...more then once. In my hay day's I had a deal with Thousand Oaks Kawasaki, and was going to jump from Amature to Professional. Unfortunately I had a real hard crash, and thought that I had broken my neck. It scared me so bad, that I never had that edge that you need in racing Motocross/Supercross. But it never effected me racing a car!

Wow, funny how you seem so invincible when you are young, until something happens. You're right, racing cars is much safer. You have a little boy to think about now, that changes everything, doesn't it?
The Helmet looks good!

Thanks for the compliment on the helmet. And yes that little boy is my life. I mean you really can't fathom what love is, until you hold your baby for the first time. My little Rye Rye is my everything. Wow its hard to say my "Little Rye Rye". He's 20 months, and he's the size of a 4 yr. old. He really is! I swear, the kids a giant. The Dr. says he is in the top 99 percentile, as far as his height goes. and he's in the top 85 percent with his vocabulary. I'm a proud Poppa
