Interesting Thread
Found this during one of my many "SRT-6 vs..." Google searches. Thread starts out kinda iffy, but really comes together in the end. Looks like there are some nice folks over there.
(Not posting this for any kind of flame wars, just sharing with the members here. Figure, any good press for us can help resale! )

Re: Interesting Thread
Great read. It's pretty neat that someone from the Jeep forum linked my thread from over there: New PB in the SRT6 - 11.30 @ 120 MPH - Cherokee SRT8 Forum

Re: Interesting Thread
One of my favorite cars I owned was an '04 Saleen Cobra S-281 speedster. She was a one of one build with the mystichrome paint. I loved the 4 cam 32 valve supercharged terminator motor and feel it is one of the best motors ever made. She was dynoed at 428 HP at the rear wheels (which I thought was cool because the 1st Shelby Mustang I owned was a GT 500 with a 428 cu engine). I forget the torque figures. The 6 spd tranny also was very good compared to the 6 spd trannys in my Vipers and of the Corvette of that period.

Thanks. My family disowned me for selling her. They are finally starting to speak to me again. I had thought it would be fun to have multiple Vipers in the garage. Sold to the AE auto collection in LA. Owner said he had been looking for the car for a couple of years and knew it was in Oregon somewhere. He said there were all kinds of rumors about the car. For another time to talk about.
I REALLY kick myself and wish I had her back.

Hahaha! I liked his style for sure. Reading that thread reminded me of what I don't miss from the "domestic" crowd. Still, it's refreshing to see the vast majority of the people using their heads.
