Talking Re: 1/4 Between Root & Askins

I think you should race at a 1/4 mile track. It's a lot more accurate there. Last weekend we lost 3rd round in a vette, both cars had .0089 rt's and the difference in et's were .009 off the dials! There's no way you could figure that out on a street race. Plus the fact that it's safer! I hate the fact that the race tracks here are going to 4 decimal points! People actually are red-lighting by .0001!!
Still it's fun going 190's in low 7's in the 1/4 mile! (I only watch, though. I'm a )

yep! If I didn't hate winter so much, I might complain about the heat and humidity! It took till midnight last night to get down to 80. Heat index today is supposed to be around 100, and very humid! Too hot to go topless, but great for swimming all day.
I LIKE IT!

Enjoy your weekend!

That weather here in chicago is too hot for swimming also. When its that hot, no better time to have the thermostat set at 64 and enjoy the a/c in the house. Gets to about 60 or a tad lower in my sub-basement. Gotta love it.

Hey X'ED, here look at this, then maybe you can grasp what the issue is. This is so unbelievably f'd up, So far I have called two Mercedes Dealers to get a part number and price, so I can replace the whole board. Both put me on hold and then eventually hung up. The boys at my Chrysler dealer didn't know what I was talking about, they kept thinking I was talking about the O2 sensor. So Like GoodEnough's experience, I to have a frustrating couple of weeks. I'm starting to get a bad taste in my mouth for Chrysler.

It's Crossed my mind. What I need is a new Tranny Temp & Sensor Board.

Oh ya, Mr. Root you asked about 7/70K. Well under normal conditions, it would be covered. But because it happened on a race track, then no they won't cover it.

Bummer. They could tell that you had been autocrossing, then because of the damage to the tranny?

Everything that Dan just wrote above has been changed, this whole thread has been screwed with, in the attempts for Chrysler to avoid financial responsibility. STOP

No, someone from my local Chrysler dealership was out there when it happened. I talked with him for a minute, he totally burned me. He said, "Yeah its to bad you were here, and not 25 feet over there. "I said Why". He Said, "because if you were over there, off the track...Chrysler would pay for whatever damage that may have occurred." So I said, "Nah...its ok it was my fault...Blah Blah..." Inside, I was saying" SH*T, SH*T, SH*T". I think he was pissed, because I was spanking him. I just thought it was funny. What are the odds, that a person from Chrysler was there the day, all the sh*t went down?...Hhhhmmm!

Don't forget to put a chicken in your trunk and break two eggs into a whiskey glass. Then freeze a potato in a napkin with a picture of your opponent. Instant win!

Well Dan, I think your old enough to know the truth...I'm sorry Dan The Moon is not made of Cheese...I know Dan, I know. Sometime the truth can be a little painful. Ha-ha... Dude really Bro, get a life.Ya, I really just make all this sh*t up for your Entertainment. I wish I could say it all isn't true, and my car is fine. If it were fine, I wouldn't be replying to you, I would be out enjoying the car. Seeing as I haven't been able to drive it for what is it now 3 weeks, and boy let me tell you. I really hate having to drive that car. Dan I don't know what you your issue is with me, but seriously man, I don't have a problem with you. I don't go out of my way to try to put down any of your comments. So why not the same respect to me. You sound like a 5 year old who isn't getting what he wants, so he's going to pout. Trust me I have a two year old, I see it everyday. Is it because you couldn't drive my car..? Dude honestly, if your are so skeptical, don't buy it! I don't give a sh*t. Really, I will offer it to all who asks. I am even willing to put my life on hold to help someone if they need help installing it, or something along those lines. But Dan remember something, it's my show... If I say that I think it maybe a little much to allow you to drive my personal vehicle. My wife won't even drive my car. For you it maybe, just another car, but to me my car is a very personal thing. That is why I offered to allow you to have a system to test for a few days FOR FREE. Nope that wasn't good enough, because you have this burn in your as* to drive my car. Well sorry Captain, it isn't going to happen, nor am I really wanting to enjoy your company, and take you for a ride. That ship sailed about a mile back.
So Dan, either put up or shut up, I'm tired of this childish bickering. So you and the alliance can go find someone else to bully. I am here for the support of others. If I have questions about MY Crossfire, or if there might be something I can do to aid in someone's efforts to solve a problem they are having. That and to give "That a Boy" to whom ever does something new or even improves an existing part. I'm tired of feeling like I'm on the ropes, because I have something, you can't have, or swindle away. Sorry Dan, but My Design, My product, My business, My rules. I wish you the best Sir, and Good Luck.
