Default Crossfire Racers Club

Those of you interested in developing a competitive Crossfire group to run road courses throughout the US much like the Porsche Owners Club or the Mini Club, let me know. I am in the process of joining forces with the Racer Factory to coordinate a series of road race events for 2006.

Since I am located on the west coast, I am looking for someone to head-up a chapter in the south and east... Anyone interested, drop me a PM.

I don't think this is the type of crowd that would do stuff like that.

I would be more than interested. I live in NJ, so I gotta find a place to learn first. I know of a bunch of drag strips but no road courses. If anyone can recommend something in the area that would be great.

Road course? Find some really smooth twisty roads? Or parking lot and set up cones? Any autocross events near you? Never done it personally because the closest ones are like MI. which is to far for me.

It's in New York state which is probably too far away but you can always try Road America, which should be just up the road from you in Elkhart Lake! Their website is here.

FWIW, Watkins Glenn is an awesome track. I got to ride along for a few hot laps in a Ferrari a few years back and it was the most fun I've ever had on four wheels. The area around Watkins Glenn is pretty neat too. It's right in the heart of the wine country. The scenery, food, and of course the wine, are fantastic.

i had plans to go to RA earlier this year and drive there, but plans got scraped because of work. NY is a bit to far to go.
