Default race!

well i let my buddy go in my car against a rsx type s with exhaust my friend chris's car. the first run, the crossfire was 1 and an a half car lengths. then danny who was in my car found the sweet spot launch at 2,500. the next run we had him by three cars almost, then sunday night, i ran a hatch back with a b16 vtech, exhaust, headers, lowered and intake pulleys. he's suppose to be running a 14.3 but i don't think he was. on the roll we where neck and neck till fourth gear, then i started to pull in front hard. i also had ran him again, he was about a half of a car in front and by the end of fourth i was probably a good foot in front of him, that is the front end of my car! well get pics or video next if we can cuz, i know we have alot of people who don't believe runs. i hear a stock rsx type s runs in the 14.7. also the guy could drive, he had it a while. i think he's is the 200 hp not the 210 one.

itr= not available for years, and when it comes to modding potential, at least for the motor, its more or less a dead heat, you can run a 13.8 for about 1200 (cold air, headers, hondata, itr head or k24 head).

The ls1 powered f-body hasn't been available for years but it is still kicking as* none the less. And the modding capability of the b18c5 is nothing to laugh at, my friend Al had a itr and was running well into the 13's with just bolt on's and his friend is running high 12's all motor. I won't even bring up handling. ITR>RSX Type Slow.

And have you ever seen a rsx type s with those mods run at the track or are you just forum reading? Personally I have never seen it.

only a turbo one from car view 2 in delaware but he has like 20 ex grand into the car, yeah i love the camaro (cream i want to start a 69' when i get a house). no room right now for it, im hoping to get into the 13's with the crossfire and leave it alone. i may go farther cuz us guys can't leave a stock car alone. hey what do you have done to your srt4? my friend dave just got his done, well back from blowing up. he posted 4 something wheel hp. its yellow with a black strip and he usual runs at the srt nationals. later

I had stage 2 w/o toys, crane wires, 3in cat-less dp, mopar catback, drop in kandn, ngk 4306, and solid motor mounts = 13.312 @ 105.34

Now it is stock except for a short throw. Buying either a '03-'04 Cobra or '04-'05 STi. If I can't find something soon, it will go stage 3 w/toys. And then all my time and cash will go to the maro.

yeah ls1's are fast, but they are mostly high mileage, handle like crap and have terrible build quality. there are a million fast cars. we were comparing the itr and rsx-s, not camaros. a low mileage itr will run about as much as you can get an rsx-s for and yes i have seen a ton of bolt on rsx-s run at sears point back when i lived in sonoma and sears point (now called infinon or something i believe) and consistently saw them in the high 13's running the same times as equally modded itr's. itr's only run about 14.6 stock, on a very good day with excellent driving. the fact is the k24 is a bigger motor, and ultimately has more power potential. you should know a thing or 2 about the potential of 2.4 liter 4 bangers. and i did hint that itr handling is nothing to mess with, but the progress groups 2.5k suspension package for the rsx-s pull 1.02 lateral g's and slaloms at over 76 mph (can't remember the exact number, but it was in scc a while back). the rsx-s is a great platform for mods, handling and power wise, the reason the integra has and always will be the favorite car of compact car modifiers.

you go to stage three make sure you upgrade the clutch and fly wheel. i heard there's alot of problems with them handling the power. i had two friends that had the flywheel torque off the crank shaft (i think that's it i'm not sure) or some kind of problem like that.

No stage 3, trading the car in tomorrow on a STi. Fun times to come.

Considering the majority of the ones in my club are in the high to low 14s, I am not worried.

Just the stage 3/big turbo guys and fully bolted on stage 2 on HOM are the ones I have to worry about it.

By winter, I should be in the mid 12's. Without drag radials.

I meant to say high 13's to low 14's.

Considering people on the stock rubber are cutting 1.7 60's. Call me crazy but I don't think it will be necessary for the amount of power i am putting down.

i'm sure he's talking about the srt4 with the 14 times not the sti! hey you'll have a good time with the STI, just don't drift into any telephone poles or curbs cuz that boost really kicks in! i'm waiting till 2007 for the supra or the GT-R awd both around 30 or so grand but worth it.

Actually according to latest rumors, the Nissan Skyline GT-R is going to be around 55-65k and the new supra is going to be around 60-70k. Once again pricing themselves out of the market.

My next car is definitely a 2006 ZO6. I'll buy one when I grad law school. And keep the STi as my daily. W00t!
