Adding to the list of competition
Since alot of people have been posting to the cars that they have raced and beaten, i thought i'd add to that list and make us feel a little better about our cars. So here we go, I've raced a 2 mustangs either an '03 or an '04, looks like there were some modifications on both cars. I noticed the exhaust modification specifically. One was trying to keep up with me until i finally gave in and decided to pass him, he tried to catch up but couldn't. Then with the other mustang my car was set on "Wet Driving". He too was side by side with me and decided to fly past me, ok so i played catch up...speeds were about 120 mph+ and it was hard to catch up with him as he had already passed me, but i did!!! weeeeeha! It was sweet victory.
So can anyone tell me which one helps me accelerate faster at speeds over 100 mph? (WET OR DRY DRIVING). Hmm, the next car was one of those new maxima's (about a 2005), yes indeed. He too tried to race me but i left him behind that felt sooo good. The acura rsx-type S i blazed as well. Then there was the acura TL, hmmm i passed him but don't know if he gave up...one of those weird questionable wins. The whole crew of rice burners, just know they had the usual exhaust modifications and all the cosmetic products on their cars...don't know about their engine mods...all wins...except...ONE LOSS!!! How sad for this loss.
When i first bought the car was driving at around 40 mph and this old honda was passing me on a 2 way street and as he was passing me i tried to out run him but i couldn't catch up!!! But this was on a very short stretch before he cut me off and i reached my exit. BLAH!!! Arrrggg, i can't think of anyone else that i've beaten or lost to, but i'll update if i remember or anything new happens. Btw, my car is still stock. Nothing has been done to it mainly b/c i might get rid of it soon, too many mechanical problems. '04 chrysler crossfire coupe, sapphire blue. To clarify, yes i am female.
I'm still waiting on a race in my new SRT-6! V-8 Mousetangs are at every other light, maybe I' catch one soon. Mousetangs are a joke especially to an ole time GM guy like myself.
Recently raced a late 90's 2 door M3 getting onto a two lane sweeping banked 90 degree on ramp to the freeway. He started right behind me at the light but could not pass. He took the inside lane while I took the outside. When the two lanes came together I thought he had disappeared, nope he was just in my blind spot unable to pass.
