OK I'm starting a list for the Woodward Dream Cruise - August 18, 2012
Post on this thread if you will be coming to join us for this fun GTG near Detroit.

Cost will be $35 per car
See post # 4 for required form that needs to be mailed with your payment.

* Sleeping rooms in our group room block are $89 for a King Bedroom.
* All King rooms also have a pullout sleeper sofa for additional guests.
* Guests can utilize this group rate for stay on August 17th and 18th - 2012.
* Breakfast IS NOT included in this room rate.
* Reservations for the group rate must be made prior to the cut off date - July 27, 2012.

We have secured parking at 13 mile and Woodward again this year !!!
The spot is in a beautiful shaded park next to the Royal Oak Fire Station.
This spot is right off Woodward Ave.
I have highlighted the general area in red.

The fee is $35 per car and this entitles you to park there on Friday and Saturday.
This fee also allows you exclusive access to bleachers along the edge of the park on Woodward ave to sit and enjoy the show.
Only CROSSFIRES in our group will be permitted to use this parking spot

YOU MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW to secure your spot for your CROSSFIRE

and mail the form with your $35 payment payable to the "CITY OF ROYAL OAK"

Before mailing your parking application be sure to write on the bottom...CROSSFIRE CLUB...
A parking pass and 2 wristbands will be sent to you in the mail - Be sure to bring those with you to this event
They are going to rope off a space for us and we want to be all together.

Had a great time last year, so we're definitely interested in attending this year. Gary, I sent you a PM with some follow-up questions.

Gary, Molly and I are looking forward to another great weekend in Detroit.

Please keep us updated on the lodging info, I think the plan that Nick and I were discussing would be worth looking into. I believe it was a Crown Plaza just down the street from the last hotel. It was a few dollars more, but maybe with a group rate it would be comparable. Apparently there is more parking, nicer folks, 24 hour hot tub, etc.

 

This is one event I don't miss. I'm looking forward it, and the trip there with the Illinois caravan....

I don't have a taxi but I do drive a restored Michigan State Police Caprice. Does that count?
