Is there a date for this event that you might post? I couldn't find it in the link. Having being born and raised in Georgia, I've never seen any of those falls except Tallulah falls which was breathtaking long ago. This road trip interests me!
We will meet in Dahlonega at 9am and end up at Toccoa Falls by about 3 and return to Dahlonega by 5:30 or so.
So the whole thing is over in a day - but if you'd like to come to it, you could turn it into a weekend trip as there are other "tours" you could go on, Sunday. I might think about leading a smaller group on Sunday to other attractions/roads in the area. There are good hotels in Cumming, where I live, less than 45 minutes from Dahlonega.

For those who want to make a weekend of it, or are considering driving from out of the area, may I suggest the Hampton Inn in Cumming, GA400 exit 14 - just down the road from me. Come in Friday evening as we can get together for dinner, etc.
A few of us will meet across the road from the Hapmton right at exit 14 and head north to where we will meet everyone else at 10. We will want to leave exit 14 by 9:15-9:30.

Since our Host Marilyn is unable to participate, I am taking over her now.
Here is the plan:
We meet at 9am (not10am!) in Dahlonega at the "Bratzeit", German Restaurant 77 Memorial Dr, Dahlonega, GA 30533.
From there we are driving to:
Suches
Helton Creek Falls (.6 Mile hike)
Brasstown Bald
Helen (Lunch)
Anna Ruby Falls (.8 Mile hike)
Minnehaha Falls (.4Mile Hike
Tallulah Gorge (2.25 Mile Hike)
Toccoa Falls( ,2 Mile Hike)
Total Drive is 125 Miles(4 h 03 minutes)
I altered the original route, since some waterfalls are more then 2 Mile to hike to, and we don't have 2 days time to do this.
Official end is in Toccoa.I just put Dahlonega in the map to close the loop.

Have you checked into the road construction on the posted routes? I understand there have been some rockslide work construction delays along portions of the falls routes. Have a great time, I will not be able to attend this one. Perhaps another time. Peace

We could not have had better weather. We spent way too much time talking and admiring our cars - so we only saw two waterfalls and Brasstown Bald - but we had 10 cars and a great time.
