CTC New Braunfels, TX. River Road Run GTG
Thanks to all of you who shared your pics and video. Great Job !!
You guys look like you had a great plan and all went well.
Me and FP recently organized a Chicagoland meet and had 9 Crossfires present but never actually organized a drive.
We need to meet again soon to do a planned drive event.
It is a good time meeting other Crossfire owners and spending some free time together.

Daniel,
I used the Windows Movie Maker that came with Windows.
Basically, you drag/drop video clips into a 'timeline', and you can manipulate them so that one video plays on top of the other. You can make them Fade In/Fade Out, etc...
Because the camera never moved, and the only thing that changed in the video was the cars, I was able to overlay the '2nd lap' of cars on top of the first one, slightly offset.
Turned out to be a cool effect!
Next time, I want to put the camera on the ground in the center of the road, have everyone criss-cross them (one goes left, one goes right)...
You know what's sad? I took the video on the 'low' quality with poor resolution. I forgot I had it set that way, so it came out a little blurry. Next time I'll be sure to get it right!

Steve,
We really didn't stop long enough to have anyone ask - but we did go down by the Guadalupe river where several people were gawking and a few even took pictures.
We also had several people stop dead in their tracks to check them all out. I remember one lady saying, "Look at that car...WOW, There's more!" lol
