For the first time in a while I have the weekend open and I think I can come out to play, unless the weather turns to puckie I'm in.

I hope we will have ten plus cars. Roy do we need reservations at the restaurant since there will be quite a few of us. We should have a count to let the restaurant know how many and about what time so we can be seated in the same area.

The turn out was a success and we really enjoyed the scenic route we took to Grist Mill Restaurant. Thanks Roy. There were six CTC members' Crossfires and four non-members. The non-members may join the CTC if they wish by attending the next meeting on the second Sunday in October 14 at 2:00 p.m. The Goal of CTC is to socialize, show our cars, have fun and make new friends. The meetings are presently held at my house in Schertz. Let me know and I'll give you directions.

It was fun... getting back to Austin was a pain though. From Center St. in Kyle, TX to Slaughter Ln. in Austin was a slow moving parking lot on I-35. It was an 7 or 8 mile stretch that took about 50 minutes. I literally had time to boot up my UMPC, tethered it to the Internet on my phone, all while driving stick up the interstate and surfing news8austin.com and kxan.com to figure out what was going on. Traffic was that slow.
Here are some pics from today...
