San Antonio Raceway - 10/17/07
Like I mentioned before, I wanted to hit the 1/4 mile just for grins.
I went out there last night (alone), and clicked off a few decent 1/4 mile runs with the best at 13.2 @ 108.7 mph.
Click the time in my sig for the time-slip.
I raced a few LS1 F-bodies (ram air trans am), Mustangs, C5 Z06 vette, turbo'd imports, etc.
The only car that got me was the z06 vette (which should've killed me, but only got me by a few tenths). The trans am should've beat me as well, but I killed him on the tree and he couldn't run me down.
It was a great time - and whether you run your car or not, it is enjoyable.
Cost - $20 to race (I could've run 100 times last night if I wanted, it wasn't very busy. I ran it 13 times).
$10 to spectate.
It took me 17 mins to pull into the gates of the track from 3009 where you turn off to Bill's house.

If interested in heading out there, Wednesday night is the best night to go if you want to run your car. Fridays/Saturdays are best for spectating. Would be a cool 'meet' some day to drive the cars out, park together, then watch the races.
