On the last Saturday of every month, there is a Mopar meet in Edmond. My brother says there are usually vipers and old muscle cars. I'm going to try to make the August meet. Do any of you know about that?

Question Re: Oklahoma Thread

There was an Aero Blue SRT with the licence plate "SRT6" at the dealership the other day. Was this anyone out there?

I saw a SSB SRT6 coupe heading south on 169, around 36th St. North in Tulsa today. This is perhaps the second SRT6 I've seen in Tulsa. Was it anyone out there?

Was in Tulsa today in my Graphite Roadster. Saw a white Roadster in the Carraba's parking lot on Yale about 44th st., a black coupe on 41st near 169, and a red Roadster at the Cherokee Casino. Lot of activity for such a hot afternoon!

I have a '05 graphite roadster in Moore - got it about 2 months ago. My kids live in Tulsa, so I'm up in that neck of the woods with it every month or so. The only other Crossfire I have ever seen on the road anywhere is an Aero Blue coupe at the Lowe's here in Moore. I would be interested in a GTG - it would be nice to see another Crossfire that wasn't at a dealer!

SRT6nTulsa - if you find out the where and when for the meets in Edmond, let me know - I'd be interested in dropping by also - any chance to show off my baby...

Well, after lurking for a few weeks, I'll chirp in here.

I bought my red (or as I prefer: Sooner Crimson) roadster 13 months ago. I'm in Miami, OK and there is only one other roadster in town, a blue one owned by an older retired guy named Bob, who tells me he was the regional maintanance manager for Chrysler for five states. It was Bob who turned me on to the Crossfire, after I stopped to admire his car in a parking lot. A week later I was driving one.

There are also two black coupes and a silver coupe here in Miami. That's a pretty fair number of Crossfires for a town of only about 12,000.

I'm stuck on duty in Rome, New York right now, but I will be back Aug 23rd.

While I am here, I will try to get information for an Oklahoma Get-together soon after I return!

I tried to have Car Toys finish up what I couldn't make it back to Norman to complete. That was a bad idea....to the tune of almost $1000.

Stay away from CAR TOYS Tulsa!

This one is off topic and actually posted in the main coupe forum but thought I would seek some help here.

Does anyone else have a problem with rain water leaking into the passenger floorboard through the AC motor?

After our heavy rains last night I awoke to 2+ inches of water in my passenger floorboard. This is the second time and its really irritating....

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

I haven't experienced it. Do you have a picture of where the water is sneaking in?

Maybe a car cover would help until you pin down where the infiltration is occurring?

It sounds to me like your A/C condensor drain is clogged up. If I'm not mistaken, the A/C drain is also the drain for the recess between the hood and the windshield. You can unplug it from underneath the car. Just look for the open tube on the assenger side of the transmission.

Let us know where and when the Mopar meet in Edmond is to happen. I'll try to get there, and maybe we can start up our Oklahoma group for get-togethers.

I won't be able to make the August meet, but we don't have to wait for the rest of the Mopar people anyways. How about a meet at "POPS" on route 66?

I've enjoyed spending a day crusing down Route 66 here in Oklahoma. The road consists of mild hills and long sweepers. I still haven't seen any cops out there. (Probably because the speeders take I-44) I like to stop at "Pops" soda stand for an exotic bubbly beverage. I've been there three times now, and each time there have been at least a dozen classic, exotic, or rare vehicles.

Pops has the largest selection of "gourmet" soda I've ever seen. I was even able to buy a bottle of Moxie elixar that I haven't seen since I was in Maine.

That sounds like a perfect place to have a GTG - it looks very cool.

I really want to be there, but I won't be available for the next 2 weekends because my daughter just bought a house in Coweta, so I get to help move and fix stuff ...The weekend of 9/6 or anytime after that would work for me.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!
