Stogey, Thanks for the great recommendation. Talked to Scott and he not only was familiar with the problem, his cost to repair was less than half of the other estimates I got. I'm not a big fan of the Lamb's and Firestone's and prefer the little guys that don't give you the run around.

Remember to bring your own food and drink. A place hasn't been designated where we will stop and eat. Roger suggested that we use the Fort Sam Rec area. We'll meet at the old Target store parking lot near the Ross store on Walnut Ave. exit 186 in New Braunfels at 12:00.

The San Antonio area CTC members will meet at 11:30 at the HEB parking lot off of FM3009 in Schertz for the trip to New Braunfels. The Austin CTC members meet at a time and place that one of you designates for the trip to New Braunfels. The Fredericksburg area CTC members meet at a time and place that one of you designates for the trip to New Braunfels. It is more enjoyable when the journey is made together as a club. Post your meeting time and place so everyone knows.

If needed, see the sticky from last years run for maps.

This is a post from Hal to remind you.

"Hey folks, thought I would throw this out there for anyone who maybe interested. There is a big festival going on in Gruene the weekend of the GTG. Maybe we could consider hangin out in Gruene after our cruise down River Road ! Whatcha all think ?"

To let our CTC members know, our friend John (FTROOPCHIEF) will be 77 years young this month. John just to make you feel younger, here is a post I found.

I'm probably one of the oldest but my '05 Aero Blue Roaster is still one of my favorites.
O yes, I just turned 80.

Thumbs up Re: October 12 Central Texas Crossfire Gtg

Thank you, thank you, thank you all for the birthday well wishes. My only regret is that the Crossfire was not being made 15 years ago so my muscles(?) didn't hurt so much after I polished it. Can't wait until January 19th to try out my heated seats, maybe even get a few more days here in the heart of the hills.
Luv Y'all!!

Hey Gang, there is an HEB at 951 Walnut across from where we will be meeting in New Braunfels. I called them yesterday and I was told they will be open Sunday and the Deli-hot food will open at 11:00 incase you want to get your stuff there--Chinese etc.
I also checked the gas prices on MapQuest, and the HEB PREMIUM is $3.11 gallon
see ya manana--

Tomorrow is the day, I hope everyone on the list shows up. I'm sadden that those I've sent e-mail, pms and left messages did not show me the courtsey to respond. I hope that they will show some interest in the next GTG to socialize, show their cars have fun and make friends.

Well, I am home and took the car out last night to fill up and get it ready to roll this morning and ... it de-rated twice on me like last time but this time it set a check engine light so I still won't make the run, off to the shop it goes. I guess I can't complain (although I will), this is the ONLY issue I have had in the three years I have had it and I feel it is a sensor failure since it only happens when I get on it hard while turning.

Oh well enough said, Yall have fun.

Paul

Yes I checked and short of disconnecting the battery cable it won't reset but I am not sure I want it to, I would like to fix it so I can get back to being Naughty.
I think I may take it to my shop tomorrow and see if our Star Scan will read the codes so I know before I let Chrysler screw... errr look at it.

Looking at the number of Crossfires coming from the Austin area, you would think someone would have set a time and place to meet for the trip to New Braunfels? There are those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what happened. The journey begins when you leave home and it is more fun doing it together.
