Ok, I too have had to read that post over and over, trying to figure out what you meant HK. I think I am understanding it more now. Don't understand what you mean here though

Not as tight as in, "Not that tight knit as a group/club?". Why just the SRT6 guys? Have you noticed a difference in attitude among the SRT6 owners compared to the Limited & Base guys? I have only run across 2 in my area, both Limiteds, and both ignored waving back.

Seriously just trying to get your opinion/experience, expecially since I may be moving to Houston soon, and I know that everyone I have met with CTC have been awesome, friendly people. Hope this comment made sense, had to type quickly.

Sorry, I call my X-fire the 6. I think of it as the SRT6 I'm not trying to be elitist by any means. I wave at every Crossfire I see, I even wave out the window, flash lights and hardly if ever do i even get a nod. It makes me sad because I like the car so much.

Subies=Subarus...trust me I love my car, I bought it because a friends dad has a limited and it fit like a glove. I lucked upon the 6.

Same here. My last name is Carr, I have been a car guy all my life, I like all cars, lowriders, trucks, race cars, street rods, rat rods, you like it, I like it for the appreciation of what it is and the work that went into it. I'm a true deep hearted car freak. Cars have changed my life for the better.

If any of you Houston guys want to come let's set a time to meet here in Brenham, about 10:30 would be plenty of time, and we can get to Carmine together.

Thanks Paul. . . .
The owner assured me that its only temporary, things will be back to normal soon. We have many orders pending.
By the way I had a great time last summer with the Fredricksburg trip ya'll have a very organized club. Great group of people.
Not sure if I will be able to make this one but I will try.
Im getting some new tires today so I should be good to go....
Got a lot going on right now getting a new roof and repairs from the storm worked out. Lotsa red tape too.

Good to hear, sounds promising in the future at least.
That storm did some damage and apparently insurance companies are being a pain, hope you get it all worked out. And hope to have you join us for the La Grange run next week.

Thanks 007 . . . . . . I will try to make that trip. I dont have an SRT and my car is not pristine like most, cause I drive the hell out of it (100 miles aday) but I really enjoy driving it!
And most of the people Iv'e met in the CrossFire clubs are nice and down to earth good people.....

Just arrived late to the Crossfire party after picking up mine from the seller this week. ('06 Black Roadster Ltd) Count me in for a Houston gathering especially on the south side (Clear Lake, Friendswood, Pearland, Galveston).

Also, I saw another Xfire at NASA where I work (red coupe) but I don't know who it is.

What do you guys think about getting something going for March? Maybe a beach run if the weather is good.

I would be willing to meet up with you guys for something, even just to hang out at Hooter's for lunch or something along those lines. That's why I started this thread.

As long as it doesn't conflict with my CTC meets, of course.

March is good for me. Just not during spring break (Mar 14-20). I'll be out of town like others with kids.

So no interest in Houston? How about March 21st at a sports bar or Hooters sounds cool. We can have a few beers and wings and watch some of the NCAA basketball tournament. Any takers?
