If interested please post what part of town you live in to help with picking a location.

I sent a pm to everyone on the Texas 100 list in the Houston area. Hopefully that will get some responses.

I enjoy the outings. Went to most of them last yr.
Iv'e just had my hands full lately.
I wanted to go on the trip to Luckenbach. . . . .
But I dont want to say anything unless Im sure I can make it.
Im still in the middle of home repairs (roof is done)
now fence and other repairs still to be done. Thanx to good Insurance.
Plus Im still on reduced hours at work so things are a bit tight.
Best I can say is . . . . I want to go.... and will try..
...Ben

Well, where the hell were all you guys when I started this thread?

Nice job reviving this thread Nathan. Too bad you missed Luckenbach, it was great. I left at 7am and didn't make it home until 6pm, still not as bad as our Denton attendee.

I would be up for a Houston meet if I can make it.

I'm going to be in Europe on vacation from the 15th-23rd, but otherwise I could possibly be in.

Well we had a great time but there were so many scooters at Luckenbach we could not even park for a photo-op much less hang out. Maybe when we do another Fredricksburg run we can run by and try again.

I'm southeast of Houston so anywhere between Houston and Galveston is great for me. (Clearlake, Friendswood, League City, Kemah,...)

It looks like we have people from all areas of Houston. (North Shore, Woodlands, Brenham, Clear Lake, etc.) Any ideas on a somewhat central location? Maybe Spring @ 1960 to help those a little further North? I'm on the East side but I don't mind driving of course.

Well, it definitely helps me to stay on the west side of town. Crossing through can make my one hour, one-way drive take two real quick. It actually takes me an hour and 20 minutes to get to Hooters at Pinemont & 290. That is my first vote , but if that location isn't fair... I have been to the 249 & 1960 location or the Westheimer & Gessner locations before, and didn't have too much trouble getting around.

They are all about the same distance to me. I'm ok with the 290 & Pinemont. What about around 1:00pm?

I don't want to butt in on your GTG, but I noticed that there is concern of what part of town is a concern the GTG is on. Does it matter, it is a GTG. The CTC has a GTG in several towns and is made up of members from San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo, Austin, Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Brenham. Just do it and have fun and we hope to GTG with all of you soon.

Good point Bill . . . . . . I often notice that your club always gets together in various spots then converge on the main spot of departure, which sounds like a good idea to me.
The guys on the south side could meet at Almeada Mall then head to the spot.
and then the north side could do the same?
Its more fun to ride as a group!
B4 I was the only one on the south side.
. . Ben. .

I was just trying to make it as easy as possible for everyone to make the GTG by picking a somewhat central location. You are more than welcome to meet up with someone from your side of town. It should be around 30-40 miles for most people.
