Hey CTC No opinions or ideas?

1. Bastrop State Park
2. Marble Falls
3. Driftwood and Wimberly
4. NYC *

Any of these work? I could work out some details for each to look at.
What do yall think?

There are two, we can drive through both and decide where we want to picnic. I don't know the area.

There are two Parks, Bastrop State Park in Bastrop and Buescher State Park in Smithville, they are linked by park road 1 and about 10 miles apart. I have never been in either one so I have no idea of what we can do in cars or how long it would take.

As always, NYC would be cool, with enough notice. Still kinda cool up there though.

Bastrop Park sounds great! I really like that idea, sounds like a cool way to hang out, chat, and admire the rides. And it is a fairly central spot for most of us, especially since I have to keep whatever I make warm. So I guess we also need to start a list of who is making what along with who is going.

Bastrop sounds good to me. I have been told the drive between the two parks is really pretty.

Glad to hear it! What are your thoughts? Do you want to add a destination to the list?

Glad NYC is out, I wasn't all choked up about it anyway. Was going to check with the Reserves to see if they could set up a weekend Navigational Training Flight from Kelly to McGuire, RON and return. Could probably stick a mess of crossfires in a C-5 or C-17.
Oh I forgot, this ain't the "good ol' Days".

Dag nabbit!
