DALLAS Cars and Coffee™ event 7/25/09

It's time for the monthly Cars and Coffee™ event in Texas on Saturday, July 25th. Please note the
earlier hours: 6:30am-10:30am. Cars and Coffee had an awesome turnout for their first event held on May 30, so get there early to beat the heat and secure your spot! And don't forget about the Starbucks coffee available -- donations for the coffee will be accepted on behalf of the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
Date: Saturday, July 25th (last Saturday of every month)
Time: 6:30am – 10:30am

Location:
Classic BMW (northwest corner of the parking lot)
6800 Dallas Parkway
Plano, TX 75024
What a cool show! I now regret not pulling my cam out of the trunk and taking some photos.
On my way home, I passed by the Preston Chrysler dealership and had to stop in to see what was going on. They were having a public auction to liquidate their remaining stock of car repair equipment and office computer equipment. Judging from all the high-end LCD computer monitors and CPU's, it was evident that they were preparing to continue this 40+ year old family owned business before Big Daddy stepped in to shut them down. Very sad.

I agree about Preston Chrysler. I have been friends with the Lau family for over 20 years and have bought close to 15 cars from them over the years. Truly sad, almost like a death in the family.
