Default Houston Area-September GTG

Well here we go again... Last month we had a pretty good turn-out. Let's see if we can do even better this month. I was thinking of having another Houston area GTG on Saturday, September 19th around 3 PM.

I have a few ideas but the last time we met, others had some good suggestions.

Please let me know if this date and time works for everyone and post some suggestions.

Thanks,

Glenn aka Marine05

Sounds good . . . also I know a lady in my area has a red convert.
I told her about the club she might join.

OK. We have some interest. I will start the list of those who said the 19th looks good. Let's give it until the end of this weekend before we decide on where and what we will be doing. I have a few suggestions but don't want to dominate our GTG.

Here is what I have been thinking-Picnic somewhere followed up with refreshments:

1) Drive up to Wahington on the Brazos, take a look at the museum and have a picnic followed up with some refreshments.

2) Huntsville State Park or Sam Houston National Forest for picnic followed up with refreshments.

3) Lake Conroe-Same as above.

Let me know if you have any other ideas and I will see what the general concensus is, post the results and will start the list.

Welcome. So far, the general consensus is that we will have our picnic at Huntsville State Park followed up with refreshments. It is not carved in stone yet, so if anyone has a good idea, let us know. As we get closer to the date, we will have more specific plans, such as a meeting point and where we will stop for refreshments.

So come on Houston, let's have a great turn-out.

So far we have:

1) jaimetoi04
2) Harleyracefan
3) Magredvet
4) TX_Xfire
5) Marine05

Hi Glenn. Wish I could make the outing, but I will be attending football games on September 19th, 26th and Oct. 3rd.

I'll keep watching the thread and let you know when I can join an outing.

Thanks, Miles

I am new to this group and wanted to say hey to everyone. I met Glenn today at Kwik Kar and he suggested I check out this site. I have an 05 Charcoal Grey Roadster.

I am going to talk with my wife tonight and see if we have any plans for next weekend that I am not aware of and we may join the trip.

Thanks

I'm not familar with the park so I say we meet up off of I45 and drive up together. Refreshments we could have back in Houston.

Great meeting you today. Hope you can make it. Were they able to fix the code problem?

They got the code, but was not able to trace it and the light is now off. If the light comes on again, I will take it to the dealer. It was nice meeting you too. Thanks again for allowing me to take your SRT for a spin.

The code was P2023 (Air Injection Pump Relay Short to Power).

Still need to talk with the wife and see if we have anything planned, but it sounds like fun.
