That's okay, as long as they drive a Crossfire, poor college students are allowed to join us.

Jared, I hope everything works out for you and you can also keep the car. I plan on going to another one of the CTC gtg as soon as yall plan one a little further south. Maybe we can get some of the Houston cars to join yall since there has been some interest lately thanks to Marine05. ~ Nathon

November CTC GTG:

Meet at Barton Creek Mall (Sears South parking) at 10:00am. Take 360 to 2222 and 620 to Anderson Mills and out to Volente and back to the Oasis. That should put us at the Oasis around 11:30 - 12:00 depending on photo stops.

MAP: from:2901 S Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, Travis, Texas 78746 to:TX-360 Loop N to:30.418184,-97.847672 to:Lime Creek Rd to:6550 Comanche Trail, austin texas - Google Maps

When we leave the restaurant the group could if some wanted take 620 to 71 then over to Hamilton Pool Rd to 12 and just past Dripping Springs take 150 back to Buda and I35. Just a thought.

MAP: from:Comanche Trail to:Farm to Market 620 W/Ranch to Market 620 W to:Hamilton Pool Rd/Ranch Rd 3238 to:30.241124,-98.062677 to:buda texas - Google Maps

I have run these roads, (Out by Volente to Oasis weekend before last and 12 and 150 just last weekend) it will be a nice run

The List

1.Bill
2.Ron
3.John
4.Paul (maybe)
5.txgoat - red roadster
6.txgoat - black roadster
7.

The GTG is November 15. Come on members and non-members let's get some numbers here so we can have a good turn out. It has been awhile since our last GTG. Paul has outlined for us a good trip and the Oasis is a nice restaurant with a great view of Lake Travis. Get on the list please.

If I get the final kinks worked out of my V8 conversion, I will try to make it. After the last few weeks, I will need a road trip!

It will be very tight as I it looks like I may have to change ECU's. I have found a replacement but it will have to be shipped to me and then I have to ship to Durham NC to be unlocked and then back to me. The ECU I am using seems to run the engine fine but it is not doing what it should be doing during starting. My donor ECU may have a damaged circut from being shoted out during the crash and fire it was involved in. We have tried everything and are only left with the possibility of a bad ECU.

Frankly My Dear, I Don't Give a Damn!! Let's shoot for 1 a year, maybe we can get some takers on that? Maybe we should change to the 4 Horsemen of the Alamo meet the 3 Musketeers of the Capital at an undsclosed location? Everybody gets a section of map and has to figure it out.. Has the fun gone?

Don't get discouraged guys. I think there is interest out there (You have over 500 views so far), it is just that people nowadays don't like to commit. We are also approaching that time of year when things get real busy.

I have had a few people in the Greater Houston Group say they would like to make an overnight trip to Fredricksburg. Maybe if we give enough notice, (After Christmas sometime) we can get a nice size group together.

Also, if you guys ever want, maybe we can plan something somewhere between the two locations. (eg. Washington on the Brazos or Brenham)
Anyway, good luck with your GTG. I am trying to get one together in the Houston Area this month with a Scavenger Hunt Theme.

Regards,

Glenn aka Marine05

our party of two cars is still very interested in the Sunday run, just hopeful the weather is topdown rather than wet. Either way, we're there, just to meet up with you guys and have some lunch. Since it's a relatively short hill country drive(miles-wise) there's a good chance that we can sneak in a good day as a 30% rain chance day means scattered storms possible, not positive. Ted S.

We are still working on the car today, so I don't think I can make it. We are hopng to have it done today but even then I should probably stay close to home until I have some done some testing and make sure there are no bugs left to work out. hopefully I make the next one. I enjoy roads trips and am looking forward the drive down there.

Sorry you can't make this one Robert, waiting to see and HEAR your SRT8 Crossfire.
Regarding the Oasis, does anyone that has been there have any menu recommendations?
The last meet here 2 years ago sounded like a good time was had by all.
